1. About Nihehe

Nihehe is a property listing, location and verification platform operated by iHelp LTD. The platform is intended to help people discover property listings and access information about the location, verification status and persons associated with those listings.

2. Nihehe is not a party to property transactions

Important: Nihehe does not act as a buyer, seller, broker, notary or other party to a property transaction. Nihehe does not receive or hold purchase funds on behalf of users and does not complete property transfers. The only payments made to Nihehe are fees for its own paid features (see section 9).

Property transactions are conducted between the relevant parties. Users are responsible for completing transactions in accordance with applicable Rwandan law and the applicable requirements of the relevant authorities, including applicable notarial and land-registration processes.

3. Verification

Nihehe may verify information relating to users, property owners, agents, properties, documents, UPI information and locations.

A verification status or badge indicates that Nihehe has completed the applicable verification process for the information concerned. It does not constitute a guarantee of ownership, title, value, legality, availability, condition or successful completion of a transaction.

Users should conduct their own due diligence and obtain independent legal, professional or notarial advice where appropriate.

4. Property listings

Users who submit property listings are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is accurate, current and not misleading.

A person listing a property must have the appropriate authority to market that property. Agents must have the appropriate relationship with the property owner where required by Nihehe's verification process.

5. Accounts

Users are responsible for the accuracy of information provided when creating an account and for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Nihehe. If you add a profile photo, you must have the right to use it, and it must not contain offensive or unlawful material.

Users must not impersonate another person, submit fraudulent documents, provide misleading information or use the platform for unlawful purposes.

6. Prohibited use

You must not use Nihehe to:

  • submit false, fraudulent or misleading property information;
  • upload documents that you are not authorised to provide;
  • impersonate another person or organisation;
  • attempt to circumvent the verification process;
  • use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent activity;
  • interfere with the security or operation of the platform;
  • share or request contact details in a way that avoids the contact-detail protections or the unlock fee;
  • send spam, abusive or threatening messages; or
  • collect or misuse another person's personal information.

7. Platform information

Nihehe attempts to provide useful and accurate listing and verification information, but information on the platform may change and Nihehe cannot guarantee that every listing or piece of information remains accurate or available at all times.

8. Messages and contact details

Nihehe lets users contact each other through messages on the platform. Phone numbers, email addresses and similar contact details are blocked in messages and in listing text. You must not try to get around this, for example by writing a number with spaces, symbols or words.

You must use messages only for genuine enquiries about listings. Spam, harassment, threats and unwanted advertising are not allowed.

9. Paid features

Some features of Nihehe are paid, such as unlocking a lister's contact details. The fee is shown before you pay (currently 500 RWF) and is paid through MTN Mobile Money. Where the unlock feature is available, it can be used only after the lister has replied to your message.

Important: The unlock fee pays only for access to a lister's contact details. It is not a deposit, a reservation or a payment towards a property. Nihehe does not guarantee that a lister will respond, that a property remains available or that a transaction will be completed.

Refunds are handled under the Refund Policy. Fees may change; a change does not affect a payment you have already made.

10. Suspension and removal

Nihehe may suspend accounts, remove listings or restrict access where there is a reasonable basis to believe that a user has violated these Terms, provided fraudulent information, submitted unauthorised documents, or otherwise misused the platform.

11. Privacy

Personal data submitted through Nihehe is handled in accordance with the Nihehe Privacy Policy and applicable Rwandan data protection and privacy requirements.
